My patient caught Covid-19 twice. So long to herd immunity hopes.
Emerging cases of Covid-19 reinfection suggest herd immunity is wishful thinking.

I’m not saying this hard science or definitive but it is the ultimate question, in my mind.

I know these stories have been floating around for a while with various possible explanations. Not keeping the contained when we could was so insane. We do not even know if there will ever be an effective vaccine.

I was thinking the same thing but with the Christchurch shooting instead of Lotr.

A neighbor of mine from about 5 doors down that I used to talk computer tech and music with
sold his house and picked up all of his belongings and moved to New Zealand when Bush became president.
He just couldn't stand the thought of living here while he was president. That was in '01. In many ways, I envy him.

That distinction is lost on everyone including myself as I immediately ran the numbers from Johns Hopkins and 270220/12970605 = 0.043962 or 4.4% not 1%

Also of note - RWNJs like to use # of US population / # dead, of course that total is very low, but no relationship to what happens WHEN you get this. If exposed, you most likely WILL get it.
