Yep. To listen to some people here you'd think it was all over, and in a supposed lockdown, all I can say is that there are an awful lot of people who must have essential journeys, as the roads are jammed.

Just found out my sister got it. Quite angry because basically she brought it on herself and half of my bloody family. 99% of the people who get it get it because of risky behavior. In her case, going from the island where she lives with my parents and sisters to the capital which is a HOTBED of the virus and visiting a friend (whose daughter as it turned out had the virus yaay), and of course, without wearing a mask (why would she, it's just the middle of a pandemic). Reason? Shopping for Christmas decorations.

Un-fucking-believable.

If the vaccine wasn’t right around the corner I could maybe understand the idea that we have to move on with our lives but exposing yourself to it now unnecessarily with the light at the end of the tunnel- I mean - holy **** - it’s just one ****ing Christmas

Granted I hate the **** out of Christmas anyway.
