I've told you this before, but this is just a lazy rationalization for avoiding any sort of critical thinking.

Instead of questioning your preconceived beliefs when confronted with evidence to the contrary, you just wave it away in some vague appeal to the complexity of human cognition.

This is a crutch and nothing more.
