Chinese disease experts and doctors knew as early as December 26th when they got a short DNA sequence from a sample. Li Wenliang told his fellow medical school graduates that this was a danger to come on December 30th. He got V& for that btw (and actually died from COVID).

Everyone knows that story. The Chinese government was still working out what was going on. Everyone knows you can’t go rogue in China. They don’t let individuals spread cockamamie bs that will lead to bat**** American levels of stupidity. You know who believes in evolution in China? Everyone. In this case they suppressed someone who was right. Of course they’re not going to admit their mistake. It’s ****ing China. But more importantly they corrected their mistake. Not to the unfortunate individual doctor but definitely to society at large.

You're a nut job who supports genocide to be edgy so you have no ability to think rationally about identity politics. When Ant compares BLM protests to storming the Capital so he can justify supporting the latter when he's been nothing but critical of BLM on grounds of property destruction and white supremacy not being issue then I call fascism.

And when you say yeah no I'd be all for socialism if it could be made to work but all his actual solutions are just give business guys (his class) money so they can innovate our way out of problems with science fiction solutions that actually require at the very least sweeping reform and regulation of business rather than handing them subsidies I say he just wants a government subsidy he can pocket and everything else he says is a front.

And I supported Myanmar’s action against the Rohingya people because I understand they can’t be expected absorb Bangladesh.

That’s Bangladesh. A country I’ve been to and a country you know nothing about. Every Burmese person accepted it because they knew there was no other way. And if you were Burmese you’d totally feel the same ****ing way. Everyone wants to put their western lenses on it but all they know is ten minutes of news clips and one or two articles.

I'm critical of BLM because they're a front for other people's money and a marketing gimmick. "Science-fiction" solutions? Everything I've discussed in regards to tech is already here in some form or fashion. The challenge is, and always has been, widespread adoption. Reform and regulation don't matter if enough people don't become aware of the alternatives, and that's a marketing + "business class" issue. Every criticism you've ever made towards me based on what I've said in the past is based on vulgar generalities, and you are so scattered you can't even remember what you ever had a problem with in the first place. Your last sentence there is the epitome of slander.
