Never. Sometimes I feel like mentioning it because some of the interactions I had here were instructive, so just I say it's something I saw on social media. I'm sure I mentioned some of the following types as random people into whose Twitter feeds I've gone on deep dives or who started arguments iwth me on instagram: a loser embittered to the terrifying point of no return, a dull Scandi homme de bien, a deeply normal Boston guy who thinks it would be better for society if people don't listen to weird stuff, a hillariously thick person from the British Isles getting worked up over topics he doesn't understand on the most basic level.

The nicer interactions I've had on here I just keep to myself.

Why does this sound like a villain introducing their line up of henchmen to the hero?

I'm good. Have a much, much rosier outlook on my academic career than 18 months ago. Exciting things are happening.

How about you?

It's not the void if you guys all have your eyeballs glued to this site, eh?

I object to the umbrella term 'you guys' and I'm not the target of your snarky posts; besides, lovingly tending to musicbanter.com like a little garden every once in a while is hardly keeping the eyes glued. I suspect that some people who profess to be over mb lurk here too, to be fair, but who knows.

Anyway I'm glad that academia is working out for you. I'm reluctantly staying in academia a bit longer too, we'll see how I like that
