K-Tel was a precursor to NASA. Not many people realize that fact.

Yeah, NASA scientists like to play down the fact that it was by reverse-engineering the K-tel Record Selector that they got their biggest breakthroughs.

K-tel. I remember the commercials. I remember hearing the term "space aged" a lot as a kid. It was as if NASA had their own manufacturing facility for everything.
