Default Music Banter's Lounge Advice Corner



I am really pumped to make this thread as I believe we all have amazing, unique life experience that can help others going through a variety of difficulties, but not limited to, dietary advice, home decoration help, advice on studying and it's pressures, family advice, advice on raising sprats/scone grabbers, etc; etc;.

Anyone can pipe in to ask for help or respond to other persons query. This is a safe space and what is shared in here is not to be spread further in any way.

To start, I would please like advice about how I might meet a female love interest, not online (preferably) and not in gay/lesbian bars?

Excellent idea. About finding a female love interest, women's football/soccer teams are guaranteed to have queer women if that seems like something you'd be into (I remember you're non-binary though so that may feel weird but I guess they don't have an option like that ). If not, some other activity that is generally enjoyed by queer women? Or maybe there are LGBT+ organisations close to you that need volunteers?

This is a nice idea for a thread, so while the one-line jokes are funny, I hope it generates more considered responses too.
My answer to your question, Cella D, would be a less certain variation on Marie's answer: find a club that focuses on something you genuinely enjoy: sport, book-club, etc. It may not be full of female love interest, but at least it'll be full of people with whom you share an enthusiasm.
Also, the chance of k.d.lang touring through your town must be remote, but watch out for any artists with similar reputations.

These days, music I like gets burned onto a cd (mp3 format), but the price for that service at my local internet cafe has gone up recently. Does anyone use Nero or some other home-burner app -or have you all abandoned the cd format long ago?
