ahh.. now that I got that out there are a few pretty good things about him:
1. I like his ideas and plans on war, they are much more realistic and well organized than the contrary (Kerry).

2. Most of his plans include a quick fix and a good long term role also. (No Child Left Behind)

3. If we didn't invade Iraq, it would have just put off our (probable future) strike at Iran further. (now we basically control their neighbor)

4. Compared to prices around the world, our oil prices kick-ass, in part because we invaded Iraq and Afghanistan.

5. Patriot Act - to me kinda wasteful, like trying to keep illegals out of the US, it is a good idea, in theory, but never really made it. And, for the stupid people out there that think the government really wants to spend there money learning what you like to do, pull your head out of your asses.

6. On Katrina - I think that Bush did a pretty nice job, people just got pissed because they lost most of what they had. (I would have been pissed too.)

7. The one thing that I hate about Bush, HE DOESN"T LIKE STEM CELL RESEARCH! If you want to kill a baby by obortion, at least put it to good use for saving other's lives.

ahh.. comments and political wars are fun..
I hope you have a metal plate In your head, that inhibits your thinking. Oh yes what a great job in new orleans. Yeah fu,ck you *******, the war in iraq was the worst idea ever, they didnt do shi,t to us, and now our family members, friends, and teachers, have to go over there and deal with it. Alos stem cell researc oppostion is probably the only good thing about him. Oh yeah, our gas prices do suck, but we drive a hell lot more than people in other countries, so thats why its lower, than say Britain. Think before you speak and this thread was like a dinosaur, dead

Lets do a simple economics problem, the demand for gas is really high because people in the US drive alot, so if demand goes up price does what?

If you can't get that one your opinion and all above statement should be and is sh*t.

EDIT: even though this thread is old, it is relevant to today.

Bush is a war mongering f*cker who needs to realise nobody likes him.

He is the reason I'm glad I live in a neutral country that doesn't answer problems with the pull of a trigger.

Erm, he did say our prices are lower than most countries. Basic Adam Smith capatilism economics doesnt completely apply to monopolies. While prices are lower than most countries exon (esso) keeps them high so they make shitloads of money at our expense. A couple of months ago exon broke their profit record but this hasnt become an issue untill recently. The media is playing everybody with their selective coverage.

Thank you for some facts. But, I was just agreeing with doc on that, his reasoning was stupid though.

What'd you mean by that? If you're talking about supply of conventional oil, there's realistically less than 100 years left.

Keep in mind the U.S. is the largest net importer of oil, with China and India both with rapid increasing economies.

The problem isnt just oil. The problem is nobody wants to fix it. Jimmy Carter told us to start conserving and using alternative sources. So, yea, hows that working out? Companys are fighting so hard for us to stay dependent on oil fighting so hard for there fucking dollar.
