I watched "An Unfinished Life" today and it was really good. It stars Robert Redford, Morgan Freeman, and (ugh) JLO. I would totally recommend this movie, it is a very touching story. I also watched " A History Of Violence ", it was pretty good but not half as good as it was supposed to be.

I'm not denying that he's a great actor and that he's probably a great guy but the problem I have with him is when he does romance and that. It always makes me cringe.

My general rule of thumb is: If there is a rapper in it, AVOID IT

Mos Def excluded of course

This movie viewing system works well for me

Ah, you see that is where you are wrong. Rappers generally make brilliant actors.

Ludacris was one of the highlights of Crash.
Even though 8 Mile was a poor movie Eminem was still a great actor.
Mos Def, as you said, is a great actor.
2Pac was also great.
Andre 3000 is talented at acting, even though he hasn't been in any roles that truly show off his potential.
Lil Jon is currently doing alright in small comedic cameos.

Rap is all about acting, so that's what makes rappers good at it. Apart from 50 Cent, because he can do neither.

ummm probably have to be The Net or Mannequin because they're old and classic. One's really suspenseful and the other is a romantic comedy.

I saw Stay this past weekend - intriguing plot, incredible directing, solid script, and a lovely Wizard of Oz-ish twist ending. The only thing that halfway sucked about it was that by the end you're so confused in trying to tie things together that some key elements get missed and some mysteries remain unsolved. All in all though, I thought it was pretty damn cool.

I also saw The Hills Have Eyes. In terms of being a movie, it was infinitely better than that piece of garbage called Hostel, and it's much more brutal, but that is perhaps its downfall as well.

I went to see Scary Movie 4, day after Easter. Twas very fun. Charlie Sheen returns!!! I love Cha'lie Sheen...the blonde girl that was in 1, 2, and 3 was in it 'swell...she's always good in them haha. The main spoofs are, War of The Worlds, The Grudge, The Village, and Saw1.

Oh and there's also a Brokeback Mountain spoof...haha.

I finally saw Coffee & Cigarettes. Very strange, but interesting. A couple of the skits definetely made it worth watching the entire thing, particularly the last one and the one between Tom Waits and Iggy Pop.
