The Secret Purposes-David Baddiel. Surprisingly well written for a comedian. I have only just started it though, so I may change my mind!

Just started The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon, who is one of my major influences and just finished The Stranger at the Palazzo D'Oro, a collection of stories on unusual forms of obsession and desire by old craftsman Paul Theroux.

Must get round to reading this sometime. The film NAKED LUNCH was a great piece of cinema, and Borroughs was enthusiastic about the end product.
