The humor is there though, you just have to look for it and have an already twisted mind it's that much easier. For example you could say that Lennie really put a whole new meaning to the phrase "heavy petting".

I'm rereading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

No lie, probably my favorite book ever.

multi-biography of the golden years of Mission of Burma, Butthole Surfers, Sonic Youth, Minutemen, Black Flag, Big Black, Husker Du, Fugazi, Minor Threat, Mudhoney, The Replacements, Beat Happening & DJR. looks interesting enough.

I just finished Bright Lights, Big City by Jay McInerny (sp?), and I loved the whole damn thing until I finished it, and it had a Salinger like ending without the Salinger like vision...or talent.

And if its accurate, everyone in NYC did coke in the 80's.

I read that book one semester in my senior AP English and I really liked it, I think I may look for it again next time I go out to the library.

Couldn't find a bigger picture. It's an anthology of the most influential 16th-17th century English dramas, and should keep me occupied for a bit.
