The fact that this reminds me of where I live makes moving a good idea.

Oh - I just bought this yesterday!

Let me know if its good. My girlfriend and I are splitting it so I'll let you know what we come up with.

As for me, I just finished Sin in the Second City (finally) which is part of my early 20th century thing I'm into. Before it I read Devil in a White City.

Being the political Junkie I am, I just picked up Plunkitt at Tammany Hall which for those of you out of the know, was the famously corrupted Democratic Parties central operating building in NYC.

Yeah, I saw a lecture he gave with Cornel West. Very funny man, and incredibly charismatic. I'll have to pick up some of his books one day...

You know, the serial killer aspect held me through some of the architectural low points but the thing I love about historical non-fiction is that once the story's been set up, they go out with an explosion.

The most mind blowing thing about it was how much debuted at the fair and how much is still so prevalent in today's society.

I love picking up tidbits about how life was then, and how things were so much different in both good and bad ways.

I loved the book.

Yeah, it's the 4th book (out of 5). I'm trying to find some authors which are equally hilarious so if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to suggest. I also started reading The will to whatevs by Eugene Mirman but I'll probably give my full attention to Adams for now. Anyone read Jasper Fforde?
