Huh...well, it was short but rather unimpressive and anticlimactic. Le Guin's The word for world is forest covers similar territory, only much much better.

Yeah I've read Neverwhere and it was really good, definitely a step above most fantasy.

Was one of my favourite novels when I first read it, but has slipped a bit down my list. Very good though.
