The Dame himself. I don't read many autobiographies, but this I'm enjoying a lot.

Finally picked this up while I was in Washington I've been on a Miller kick lately. So far, this blows Air-Conditioned Nightmare out of the water:

Needless to say, I could use some recommendations next time I pick out a book to read.

LMFO

What's with all the video game novels these days? It's a weird trend.

Seriously, how do you write a freaking novel about a game that is basically just a computer simulation of lasertag?

Excert from page 1.

He shoots a guy, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then he gets stabbed by another guy wielding that overpowered laser sword thing, who then promptly rubs his nuts in his face while declaring "OMFGZ PWNT N00B!!!"

Just took this out from UEA library for an elemetary Analyzing Film & Television module. I've chosen medical dramas as the centrepiece for this particular essay which is on genre. Pretty standard stuff, and the book is a surprisingly good read, opening with a critical analysis of the humanitarian themes central to M*A*S*H, which heavily influenced the 90's dramas I am focusing on (ER etc). Surprise, surprise this is the ONLY book in the entire uni dedicated to hospital dramas
