I used to read alot of Robin Cook. Pretty good stuff, but the whole medical themed mystery plot gets old after a while.

Right now I'm reading Father and Son by Larry Brown.

A gritty, real story about a semi-disfunctional out-in-the-country town in Mississippi in the 60's. Larry Brown's a pretty good story teller.

reading this for my Exploring World Literature class. I'm around the middle of the book, and so far it's giving a pretty sharp-tongued taste of India and the type of world that it is for some of the poorest of it's citizens. The tone of the book isn't all doom and gloom, though. The main character's(and by extension the writer's) sarcastic wit and dark humor make it a really entertaining read.

Just starting this. It's my second Vonnegut book ever, and I loved Breakfast of Champions so I have high hopes.

I hope it's not a let down after Breakfast of Champions. Still, it's a very good book.
