^ That book was alright, but Guts was ****ed. That story wasn't even cool, it was just gross. But I guess that was the point.

Guts is actually three true stories from people Palahniuk knows. I guess he felt it needed to be told for the pure shock value that it really happened.

Wanted to read some Canadian lit, as I am Canadian and feel I read nowhere NEAR enough writing by local authors...plus I've never read any Atwood before, and a friend had this book to loan me so it worked out perfectly for me!

I was disappointed by that book. It has an interesting premise but I felt like it was out of balance or something—the first half seemed overly drawn out while the ending felt extremely rushed.

Back to school, never read on my spare time. Not joking but this is only the 12th book Ive read in my life, it's not bad.
