Choke (not including the image cuz i can only have 4) was great!

and these:

eh... not so much.

It's been a long time since I read all these though.

I've read all his books, except for Fugitives and Refugees. Diary was meh, Lullaby was pretty good, Choke...eh, Invisible Monsters is my fave of his, Fight Club was good but i like the ending in the movie best, Rant and Snuff were awful, Haunted was okay, Pygmy was really good, like he returned to his old goodness. Survivor I don't remember liking...Tell-All was only mediocre too. If you like him, do you read any Bret Easton Ellis?

It is definitely a weird book. I didn't really care for the story line he had running in the background. I liked the individual horror stories more.

I'll have to check out Pygmy. Nope I've never read Ellis. Particular books you'd recommend?

Took me a while to pluck up the courage to start this one:

Surprisingly, I'm understanding the slang well enough.

Hehe, make sure the voice actor (in your head) is keeping up. I took my own sweet time to finish that novel!

I started reading some other novel and I bitched about how the author didn't conform to convention with grammer or quotes and a buddy of mine said to me "oh that doesn't bother me, Trainspotting does that too"

I vowed never to read it so...how is it? Because I can't bring myself.

^Much easier than I expected... and it works with the concept of the book perfectly.

I'm reading Infinite Jest now and I'm definitely interested to hear opinions of it from people who've read it. So far I like it a lot but I am only 100 pages in..

I would definitely put him more in the realm of transpersonal/evolutionary psychology than zen, but I do understand what you're saying. His ideas are, without question, unconventional and have attracted their fair share of criticism, but having said that, I find that I agree one hundred percent with just about everything he asserts.
