Of Human Bondage by W. Somerset Maugham. This is a lot longer than most things I like to read on a computer, my eyes feel like they're going to shrivel up and fall out of my skull.

I kind of need a good book to read. A kind of philosophical book would work. I'm going book shopping today.

Just After Sunset, by Stephen King, again. Such an amazing collection, I love each and every story in it. If I had to pick a favorite, I couldn't possibly pick just one, but I'd have to say "N.", "Graduation Afternoon", and "The Gingerbread Girl".
Anyway, I highly recommend this book. Anyone else read this? |

A friend of mine told me long ago I should check out Richard Laymon, but I'm just now getting around to it. So this is the first book I've read by him and it's one of those you just can't put down once you've started. |
Right now I am reading The Unnamed by Joshua Ferris.
it is pretty good, though so far its pretty depressing. It centers around a man with a nameless illness that causes him to randomly loose control of his body, when this happens his body walks and he is unable to stop until his body tires itself out. He has no conscious control over his walking at all, and the illness strikes him at random. |
Finally finished The world according to Garp. Can't say I enjoyed it much, but I'm willing to give Irving one more shot...:\
