Kind of obsessed with Murakami right now

ps Jansz, I loved Hard Boiled but I don't agree that it was better than Wind Up Bird!

Really? I thought in its best moments The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle was really great but it was also one of the most slow-moving books I've ever read. It actually took me over a year to slog my way through it and I'm usually a pretty fast reader.

Im reading a book called Wake. Its a triology series. Pretty cool story, its about a girl whom has dreamcatcher powers and whenever someone around her falls asleep she cant help but pass out and gets sucked into thier dream. The first book is all about her discovering the ability and honeing the skills to control it. Then she goes on to realize she can help/influence people through thier dreams and even force herself into other dreams or create dreams of her own. Its a good series.

I found Wind Up Bird to be pretty engaging really, I feel like the characters were developed a lot more thoroughly than those in Hard Boiled. I definitely liked Dance Dance Dance more, much more interesting. I think Murakami's stuff is kind of slow moving as a whole though.
