Do it, I just got the kindle touch and it's amazing.

You probably have about 9,000,000 books that I would want. You need to hook me up
Does the Kindle Touch have the same shine-less screen appearance as the regular Kindle?

Backlight kills batteries. I charge my Kindle every week or two.

slowing making it through this series (at my own fault....stupid sunshine )

i have a gripe about the last book.....but the prologue alone with this one had the hairs on my neck standing....and almost made me forget about my anger......almost

Spoiler for not a big deal but a spoiler none the less:
and i'm glad that Davos made it through the war .....i kind of like him

Does anyone know if the kindle has any good free books? I've borrowed one and have nothing to read.

You can read some good public domain literature, anything over...one hundred I think?...years old is free. There is a lot of great classic lit out there if you're willing to find it.

Pretty much this, old material will be free, and sometimes you will find certain books that aren't quite old enough to be public domain, but pretty damn old will be available for a few bucks. Also you can sometimes find young writers' work pretty cheap too, but there's no telling if it will be good or not. Then of course you can always pirate it, the file format you want to be looking for if you choose this route is .MOBI or .PDF.
