I didn't skip the Chamber of Secrets, I just forgot to put it here. I'm jetting through these. I'm already attached to the characters and don't want it to ever end.

Now I know how everyone felt when they were going to see the last film.

No way. The books are so much better than that drivel.

I know, but the last movie came out after the last book.

I'm saying it was the end altogether, almost. Like at least after people finished reading the book, the movie was still to come. So they didn't have to let go just yet. A lot of people were feeling like their childhood was over!

I'm still holding out for a redo on the movies in 10+ years.

I think that's pretty indicative of Stephen King as a whole.

Yeah, he even said "I'm the literary equivalent of a Big Mac and fries."

i think i was prepared for the movie....what got me was picking up my copy of the book and walking out of the store...opening the front cover and reading "this IS the final Harry Potter book".....i actually did not want to read it :(....

it may have also helped the the film was split into two :)

I haven't seen all the movies yet. I'm going to finish reading first, but I just remember a lot of people feeling so sad. Ahaha. I can imagine it now, I'm already attached to everyone.

Just finished Hammer of the gods. Not anywhere near as salacious or w/e as I'd expected. Also It says Robert Plant’s first solo tour ended each show with a ‘reggae version of Bob Marley’s Lively up yourself’. This, no doubt, would be as opposed to Bob Marley’s own heavy metal version!.
