Nah, its not that bad, my essays have been fairly graded..one 70,84,84%'s. i dont except myself to get A's on literature stuff,. so 84's arnt bad so far. now that ive had a complaint about my last topic, my last 3 essays about to be graded hard asf lol (i bet)

Im working on this essay Frownland, I had Love as one of my symbols to write about in the story and the pattern completely doesnt symbolize "love" even thought John her husband is 'trying' to fix her. having her stare at a pattern and nothing to do will lead to mental illness, hows that dude a physician lol

so im switching the love theme to repression, since woman in this time in society were treated differently and not as fair.


my thesis and life lesson is that there are always warning signs to suicide also, if the family cares enough to look. there is evidence of love in the story but typing about how John "loved" her but also caused her death almost seems wrong. so repression here i come!

this was probably my favorite short story out of the semesters stories..
