Yeah it's a fun read. It's a history of expat writers in Paris told from the viewpoint of a book publisher, which is not necessarily what I'm most interested in, but it has its qualities.

One of the few Ballards I haven't read yet, one of his late career "mystery novels that are also novels of ideas." As witty and suspenseful as you'd expect.

I've added it to my list.

Just started Yours Cruelly, Elvira by Cassandra Peterson....this is the autobiography of the infamous Elvira. I'm swooning already....
