Tell me what you think of South of the Border West of the Sun, earthling.

Currently in my growing collection is Zombie, Ohio by Scott Kenemore
Almost half way, profanity, zombies, and how I wished Ohio was near Texas.
Humor moments, the first page to tag you in is what got me and other then the fact that I do in fact zombie action.

Ten minutes later....you'll joke about that with me won't you?

Just at least give it a shot, it kept me through the massive line Seattle to see SUPER.

It's about this Professor who wakes up notices he had a crash but he is perfectly fine but has no idea what the **** is going on. Finds old friends and partner interest upon the journey, but that's not all. His visit to the bathroom and looking in the mirror he noticed after his hat was disposed.... He doesn't really have another half of that....

Black Hole by Charles Burns
A graphic novel (really a collection of a series of comics) about a group of teenagers in 1970s Seattle living through some strange sexually transmitted plague that causes weird mutations. Cool story, interesting characters, and a very weird ambience that I'm really enjoying, but the illustration is really the star here. It's gorgeous and communicates so much.

Anyhow, at the moment I'm reading 'Freedom' by Jonathan Franzen. So far I'm not completely into the story itself - but I'm still gonna give it a shot because he's an excellent writer and the language is really, really good.

Currently reading The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett...and it is loooong. Most of Ken Follett's books are really great (historical thrillers).

I bought it and I have yet to crack it open. I think I should read it, but Classics have never sat well with me. When I'm reading something I'm "supposed to" it takes the flavor out of it.

Its the literary equivalent of Big Ben or Time Square. Who gives a **** what photos you took? Everyone has the same of better, and probably from a cooler point in time.
