Very disturbing, morbid, graphic anthropological study on 'death' in many cultures. Fascinating as well. Ranging everything from the modern sacrificial cannibal rituals to Viking rape, and murder rituals to Vampire lore. Very twisted, fantastic book.

Sounds ****ing awesome.

Right now I'm re-reading one of my favourite books, The Chocolate War.

The Doors by The Doors. A collection of interviews and rare photographs. I only just finished the section of how each band member came to be a part of. It's pretty great so far, I have several hundred pages to go and to anticipate.

I haven't finished it yet, but there is no appearance of The Boss yet.

John Irving - Last Night in Twisted River

Pretty typical John Irving but I like his sort of immersive narrative.

Reading a big stack o' plays right now.

A Murder of Crows - Mac Wellman
Language of Angels - Naomi Iizuka
Arcadia - Tom Stoppard
The Glass Menagerie - Tennessee Williams
The Little Foxes - Lillian Hellman
End Game - Samuel Beckett
Blue Window - Craig Lucas

Most of these are re-reads, but I'm trying to find something tasty to direct.

Pretty fun read. Varese seemed like a pretty damn cool guy. One of my favorite books I've been reading recently.

I've started reading A Clash of Kings, the second book in the Song og Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin. My friend has just finished it and she tells me it's a great read. I'm really excited about reading fantasy again, I can't remember doing so in a very long time.
