For those of you who havent read it, its about a day in the life of two wanted mass murderers and a Hollywood director being blamed for the crimes they are commiting due to the violent nature of his films. The day and night the book covers also happens to be Oscars night.

It does seem to borrow alot from the likes of Reservoir Dogs and Natural Born Killers but i really enjoyed it. It inserts itself heavily into the age-old debate concerning crime and media influence and the "glorification" of violence but also maintains the dark humour i would expect from Ben Elton. I cant help but think this could have been made into a great, if rather unoriginal, film. I wonder if the play was any good?

Rereading a book called Revolution No. 9 by Neil McMahon. It's pretty good.
Then I'll be reading Pride and Prejudice

I just finished re-reading a story from Stephen King's collection, Just After Sunset, called "N."

Are the stories in that book any good? My mom bought me that a while ago, but I've stayed away from it because for the most part, I think King's short stories are meh.

Recently finished all 578 pages of this. Often touted as the father of value investing, much of Graham's concepts, as well as that of John Bogle and some others around that time, would lay the groundwork for what would essentially become the indexing industry. Back then you had to do all the research yourself.

Reading this currently:

Looking for something that goes beyond the headlines; something that provides more of a behind-the-scenes look at the decisions that were made during the crisis. At 48 pages in, we see Geithner as a reluctant Secretary of Treasury who, at least at the outset, didn't know if any of his tactics would work. Interestingly, he detested public speaking, although I'm expecting him to get more comfortable in his role, both in decision-making and public discourse, as the book goes along.
