I once started reading a novel by Danielle Steel (I don't remember which) because I had nothing else to read, and the nearest library was 50 kilometers away. After reading the first few pages, I decided that I would rather lay on the bed and stare at the ceiling than read another page of that crap. Anyway, currently I'm reading The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

i think pressing my eyes when they're closed and watching the blinking stars appear would be more fun than reading any Danielle Steel

BARNES & NOBLE | We First by Simon Mainwaring | NOOK Book, Hardcover

Pretty interesting read so far. I'm moving more towards Non-fiction lately. This details the balance between sustaining a major corporation in todays day and age and also doing it eco-safe and with a conscience for the social market. Pretty good book.

I need some recommendations, actually. Of particular interest are dystopian and feminist works. I like philosophical and thought-provoking work. I like to be challenged, and you can never go wrong with a good twist.

So if you know a great novel that fulfills any of these interests, please let me know.

Thought of this when you described what you like. Good read, pretty sure you've checked it out if your inclined to reading this style of writing.

Read it, loved it. I probably don't need any Atwood rec's, as I'm well aware I love her writing and have been moving down the list of her works, but thank you, because that's just the kind of thing I look for.

Kate Atkinson | Books | Emotionally Weird

I'll try again. I finished this book a few months back. I find her writing very engaging and well thought out. Some of her other books might be more popular such as case stories, I still found emotionally weird very entertaining.
