I'd recommend it, if there's a Book Warehouse where you live they might have it, plus they usually do sales on Jan. 1. If you can't find it there, it's well worth the $22 I paid for it at Chapters.

Really want to read this book, but apparently it's insulting to anyone who's a fan. The author apparently just compares her eating disorder to his drug addiction and tells you nothing you don't know. Pretty negative reviews across the board. I wish there was a good book about this man.

I needed something light to read, Out was thoroughly depressing me what with it's talk of cutting up bodies, so I downloaded this. I'm really glad I did, I know nothing about Russell Brand except he was in some boring ass looking movies and that he's married to Katy Perry, but it's actually a really entertaining read, and he's very witty and funny. Best of all, he seems to know he's got some twattish characteristics and he seems well aware of it, and I like that about it.

Nuh-uh. I see somebody isn't keeping up on her celebrity gossip.

Could anyone recommend me some sci-where where politics plays a major part in the story? Thank you.

This sort of does, but it's a really great read anyway, I was obsessed with this book when I read it, it is literally impossible (oh a pun) to put down

I'm reading the play Ubu Roi, I can totally see how Terry Gilliam pulled from it for his filmworks.

The Dispossessed - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

^ Check this out. One of my favourite novels. A lot of her other books are good politics-heavy science fiction, but this is my favourite.

The Mars Trilogy would be a good shout, too. They're concerned with the terraforming of Mars and the development of human civilization on the planet, and there are obviously a lot of political aspects to emerge from a book like that. Amazing books, although they do take up a lot of yr time.

Brave New World, too.

I'm about to jump into Steinbeck again. I just bought his short story anthology.
