I haven't seen the movie no. The book has started off pretty slow though.
As for the Shakespeare. I have made my way through the sonnets, which I really enjoyed and now it's going through the plays alphabetically. Started with All's Well That Ends Well, not enjoying it tbh.

Philip K.Dick-We can build you. Read it about 15 yrs. ago and don't remembere being too impressed by it but...I'm reading through as many as I can this year and I've got Martian Time-slip to come next. so I'm looking fowarad to that.

Martian Time-slip is a mind****. It's a good read, but it's insane even by his impressively crazy standards.

Ender's Game is by far in my opinion one of the greatest books of the 20th century....but he lost it all with Speaker for the Dead and Xenocide....and personally i never made it to Children of the Mind.....did you by chance read Ender's Shadow?

Ender's Game is in my top 5 books of all time. I haven't read any other OSC but I am in fact about to start Ender's Shadow now! Have you read it then? It's supposed to be from Bean's POV right?
