I had to quit beer as I used to, lets say, drink too much of it.
I was one of those that when I drank I used to never be able to drink enough. I am very very hyperactive in all aspects and drinking was the same.
I occasionally have a four pack but in the main I am off the booze.

Just finished Candide, I couldn't get through it in high school, but this time I could not put it down.

We spent 100 dollars on Bukowski last night. Got: Pulp, Hot Water Music, Ham on Rye, Post Office, Portions from a Wine Stained Notebook (Uncollected stories and essays), and Notes From A Dirty Old Man. I've got a lot of reading to do. I'll enjoy every ****ing second of it, too :p.

Buk is my favorite writer of all time. Just love the raw style of the guy & his complete and utter, unabashed honesty about absolutely everything. Plus, I think he's funny as ****. I like seeing bums with talent, the poet laureate of skid row.

Once and Future King FTW. That has to be the best Arthur novel. I generally hate fantasy, but I really like Once and Future King.

Anyways, I am reading Uncle Tom's Cabin for school, and it really doesn't live up to the hype. It is an okay book.
