Just finished this. It was good. I loved the concept and the characters, and some of the scenes and ideas really impressed me. I did think it was a little bit boring in some parts, but definitely not enough to make me put it down.

I'm about 1/2 way through and I remember reading it about 20 yrs. ago and thinking it was silly and i've just got to the bit that made me think that. Still I'm keen to finish it.

Leonard Bernstein - The Joy of Music

Just bought it...expecting quite a bit of intellectual masturbation, which I don't mind actually. Great conductor and pretty good compositions too (like his Serenade!).

Just finished The Secret History by Donna Tartt, now I'm reading a collection of Thomas Paine letters and writings.

Re-reading this for probably the 4th time. It's always excellent.

I'm not reading anything right now. But I think sometime this week I'm going to motivate myself to finally read that Woody Guthrie book I bought a couple years ago.
I bet it's very interesting, I'm just not the type to read books too often, except when it's for school. And after all the terribly boring books I've had to read for school, I can kind of see why I'm not too interested in reading.
