Koyaanisqatsi, Powaqqatsi, and Naqoyqatsi. Hands down.

Ahh yes that's one of my favourites as well. Naqoyqatsi is incredibly underrated, it's my favourite of the trilogy.

I don't get the hype with lord of the rings. I sat through that whole first movie and it was boring as shit. That amount of exposition just made me want to kill myself in the moment.

I don’t think I’ve seen the 3rd one. How does it stack up?

Edit

My bad that’s exactly what you were answering

The big whatever at the end is when I usually stop caring. I only saw the first Lord of the Rings because I could never subject myself to that again. But every scene was a climax which is the least interesting. Tolkien wrote at a decent pace and made it bounce along pretty well, especially in the Hobbit. But these movies gloss over the interesting things and extend forever whatever lends itself to the latest **** looking cgi. Plus, the music gets boring as ****. I like Howard Shore but Jesus, switch it up. No folk and Viking metal, for Tolkien? Puhleeze.
