Jar Jar Binks? No Thanks. I voted Star Wars, but only for the first 3.

Says who?!

If you want to claim he's greater than DeNiro and Strasberg, fine. But don't start making starry-eyed fanboy claims about him being the greatest actor ever.

I can name numerous actors off the top of my head that are generally considered to be greater than Brando, in no particular order:

Charlton Heston
Sir Laurence Olivier
Humphrey Bogart
Jimmy Stewart
Cary Grant

Plus I think it's kinda ludicrous to compare Brando as a method actor to pre-method acting performers.

The fact that his lines were posted around the set, yet he was still able to give an absolutely incredible performance as Vito Corleone...I'm missing how this is wasted talent. How can you call talent wasted, when this talent produced films like The Godfather, Apocalypse Now!, The Missouri Break, Last Tango in Paris. These are some of the greatest movies of all time. Not a waste of talent at all.
Did I discredit his performance? No.

Jar JAr Binks was a very significant character. He was used as a pawn, without knowing it himself, to give Paplatine the powers he needed to "create" an Army For the Republic, thus beginning the republics fall to tyranny, as more and more emergency powers were given to Palpatine until he practically was the republic.

JAR JAR BROUGHT ABOUT THE END OF THE REPUBLIC!

And The first three are episodes 1-3, not 4-6. If 4-6 were the first episodes, they would be named 1-3, but they aren't. They are the last episodes. If one more person refers to episode 4 as the first star wars episode I'm going to hunt them down and break off a florescent tube lightsaber in their bum!

says who? search for a list of the greatest actors of all time. 4 out of 5 will have him in at least the top 4. I've seen numerous where he is number one. Whenever someone is listed above him it is usually sir laurence olivier, humphry bogart, or well..I can't think of any other actors that are better than him.

So you admit that usually ratings DON'T consider him the best actor?
