Favorite Trippy / Bizarre Movie?

Well look, I've already found one then

When Harry Met Sally is one of my favourite movies of all time, mostly because I like the fact that they dont fall helplessly in love with each other straight away, but instead it takes 12 years, ex-wives and a steady friendship before they finally realise how they feel for eachother. Plus, the casting was perfect as the two actors were and are very likeable for the charcters of Harry and Sally. Plus, I believe different sexes can be friends without sex, even though their relationship results in it.

A chick flick with substance? When Harry Met Sally? Not really, just based around a loose stereotype smothered with a load of the old clichés. Walking the streets lonely, running to her just as she was about to leave, giving her "that speech". It still contains all of them clichés, but it was a nice enough light hearted film for when I was 14..

Must you be so cynical? 500 Days of Summer has its own cliche moments. The morning after he gets some must be one of the most over-used scenes in male-perspective romance films. Its saved though by the switch in time, which continues the scene but in a space where hes definitely not getting any.

^I watched Eraserhead once before, and it remains the only movie in which I can't decide if I love it for it's surrealism or hate it because it's uncomfortable to watch and has no real plot.

Last night I watched the first half of Mulholland Drive, and goddamn, is that film bizzare. I wanted to watch the whole thing but I fell asleep

. I'll probably rent it soon and watch it in one sitting sometime soon though, because I liked it alot.

I personally love it for it's surrealism. Holy shizz.

It should come with a Do Not Watch While Stoned warning label, though.

Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion
Director: Hideaki Anno
This is by far the trippiest animated movie I've ever seen. Takes you deep into the conscious and subconscious of the protagonist examining his life alternate realities examining the people he loves and hates all for the big conclusion to keep things as they currently are or deystroy the whole world and start a new, very trippy!

Donnie Darko
Director: Richard Kelly
Very weird and trippy movie involving an apocalyptic bunny rabit telling cryptic unravelings to the future. Being put into an alternate reality and trying to stop it from collapsing.
