I agree, the plot was horrible and quite the snoozefest.

The plot is non existent and the pace lags a lot but it does look stunning on the big screen.

Fairly effective that reminded me of 70's visceral horror films. I actually thought that we would see more than we did but it is well acted and extremely well shot and well worth your time if you are into films like Straw Dogs and Deliverance.

I realised that this has been sat on my shelves for 6 years now so i thought a rewatch was in order. Still holds up very well. A stylish thriller. Unfortunately due to it's time structure the pace can lag and there are no big scenes but it is still a great film.

Frontier(s)

wow, i love the direction that the french are going with horror these days. Not to say that this is wholly original or even unpredictable but it knows what to steal from and how to steal from it.

brilliant, gory, and not too many avid farts after the first act.

8.5/10

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

6/10

The action scenes are very fun, but the whole point of the Crystal Skull is for lack of a better word, retarded. Plus, the whole thing feels that is was done for the sake of novelty, but then it is Lucas so what can you expect?

Check out Santa Sangre too. A quite phenomenal film.

What makes The holy mountain better than Prospero's books?
