Exactly. She (Annik Honore) claims they just lay together and held each other.
He gets a lot of bad stick for 'cheating' on his wife and for the way he treated her, but look deeper and you'll find a genuinly vulnerable and confused young man with a lot of questions and no answers.
That's why I never bought the rock suicide obsession he was supposed to have.
I believe his suicide was a culmination of many factors, overwhelming him emotionally.

That's exactly what I felt when watching the film and expanded upon in my review. I think the lo-fi approach to the film was succinct.

Iron Man

had high expectations coming in. I was dissapointed. Had a hard time staying awake, there is about 30 minutes of action in this 2+ hour film.

It has been siting in my `to watch' pile for a while and it has a little cult reputation. Why? I was bored throughout. How Luc Besson could put his name to this is anyone's guess.



If I'd have seen this in my youth I may have held some nostalgic reverence for it. However I have never seen it and never want to again. It has not aged well at all. Bad day for films today.

Badly paced, bad stunts, incorrect subtitles and unimaginative cinematography. I really wanted to like it too.
