Disappointed a little by this as the script wasn't by Meadows himself but a worthy watch nonetheless.



I haven't watched this for a years but still mindless fun and kinda overlooked in the knockabout action stakes from producer Joel Silver (Lethal Weapon etc).

Brilliant film, I expect nothing less from the Coen brothers now I've seen a couple of their movies, clever, great dialog, dark yet funny. Brilliant. Any other Coen brother classics I just have to see?

I've never seen this, but my ma has hounded me about watching it in the past. So you've just reminded me to put that on the netflix queue, especially since you liked it so much.

Somehow when shopping for gifts for each other my family of 5 managed to give ourselves 3 different copies of this movie.





Still one of my favorite movies of all time.

I really like:

The Big Lebowski - one of my favorite comedies ever.
Miller's Crossing - dialogue driven gangster movie.
Raising Arizona - a bit dated now, but its a cute comedy.
