Saw this last night with my girlfriend cause we both wanted to see a shitty gory slasher film. Turns out it's not a slasher and it's not gory, it was just boring and shitty. I really just wanted the movie to end the whole time so I could leave.
I can see how the plot of this film would sound good on paper, but it was executed horribly and it's incredibly transparent. Please don't watch this movie.

Hehe, I see it says "a classic", "nerve shattering" and "amazing". Perhaps the original quotations were something like ..

Silent House is a classic fail.
As a horror, it's about as nerve-shattering as Scary Movie.
The only amazing thing about The Silent House is how amazingly boring it is.

Don't forget "Drenched in the horror of depressing disappointment".

Great film. George C. Scott versus James Stewart was awesome. Not as good a court room drama as 12 Angry Men or To Kill a Mocking Bird but definitely up there.

Started off with a bang and just kind of floated along. There were some scenes and parts of the movie that I found good but it really just took a nosedive towards the end. Horrible sappy ending.

5/10

Horrible but is a classic sci-fi movie with lasting effect.

The silliest of all Smith's movies but this one was kind of him having fun with making movies so even though it was pretty bad, it was still funny and entertaining.

Ahh, Jay and Silent Bob, how I miss thee. Fairly fun stoner comedy for sure.

The last movie I watched was Drive.
It doesn't have many dialogs and it is a slow movie, due to these facts the music has extra importance in conveying emotions. The problem is that I really didn't like any of the music.

What started as a fairly promising documentary on reality and quantum physics degenerated into an almost farcical turn of events and new age bullcrap. Just watch many of the BBC's Horizon documentaries about similar subjects to be entertained and enlightened.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that about that film. My dad got it for me for Christmas years ago and I tried watching it, but it just.. ugh, I dunno, there was just something about it that made it impossible for me to finish.

Liked this a lot. Didn't know anything about it going in so the effect was believable. It's a lot like Catfish
