just curious....did you actually watch a copy of Braindead or was it Dead Alive....just wondering if they are different cuts?
i know when Dead Alive was first released in the states there were two different versions.....this is back when "unrated" really was different the "r" |

It's a pretty decent psychological thriller that's set in an abandoned asylum that is being worked on by a team of asbestos cleaners. Good 7/10 movie that does just enough to make it memorable, but that seems to be rather indicative of director Brad Anderson's work. The setting is what really steals the movie, decades of decay and graffiti really make the hospital look foreboding.
