Currently watching:

The Ward

I'm a sucker for horror films, and I love anything to do with psychiatric hospitals. I know that sounds weird, but the brain in general fascinates me.

It was the uncut version of Dead Alive, but I looked at my digital copy of Braindead on my hard drive and it was the same length so I got to see all the splattery gore.

I haven't. Is it worth checking out? I assume it is since you ask.

It's a pretty decent psychological thriller that's set in an abandoned asylum that is being worked on by a team of asbestos cleaners. Good 7/10 movie that does just enough to make it memorable, but that seems to be rather indicative of director Brad Anderson's work. The setting is what really steals the movie, decades of decay and graffiti really make the hospital look foreboding.

I'll check that out. I did a quick search on Netflix when you mentioned it, and it seems right down my alley. Definitely a movie that I would enjoy.

Watched Serenity this morning, A Dangerous Method an hour ago, and about to watch The Sitter. I know, busy day I'm taking the day off to relax and then write a research paper for university.
