i think i was drawn mostly cuz she looks like carly rae jepsen here but there was essentially no chance of me not loving this movie off the bat. kind of reminded me of that reese witherspoon/mark ruffalo movie where he sees her coma ghost but i unashamedly love that one too so. its just so dang nice

Can't support this statement enough. Any Wong Kar Wai film is an excellent choice really. 2046 is very similar.

Inside Out (2015)

I saw this with someone on Friday and it was an absolute blast, easily my favorite Pixar original since Wall-E (sorry Up). The animation in both the real world and Riley's head was beautiful and quite striking, but incredibly colorful. The story was really well paced and had a kind of Dr. Suess style to its delivery about of a message that isn't always easy to get across, in this case that sadness is a necessary emotion. I mean it's not like kids movies never dealt with that before, but I think it was always just shown and then left to the parents to explain why Bambi's mom had to die, but in this case the movie actually goes into it. It was also incredibly imaginative with how it depicts the inner workings of the mind, with some clever analogies and some hilarious scenes, like how dreams are just made by a production studio. In fact, the only thing I didn't like about this movie was the short film "Lava" played at the beginning, that was absolute shit and completely played against the lesson the actual film was supposed to teach. That said, if that's the only complaint then the film is doing pretty fucking well in that regard and it's nice to see Pixar back on top after a few scant years of anything really compelling.

Watched Terminator:Genisys.
It's a terrible, awkward, cringeworthy trainwreck.
Still somehow watchable, albeit, most of the time, barely.

Watched Withnail and I.

Very funny film with a fantastic soundtrack. I believe it was funded by George Harrison.

It's one of my favourite comedies and an overall awesome film.

I watched the first half hour of Withnail and I and loved it. Then I forgot about it forever. Looks like I figured out what to do on my day off tomorrow.

Singham Returns. Awesome one. I like the movie a lot. Though seen it 4-5 times but still i like it.
