How sad, incorrect grammar is what gives your life meaning. Too boring to do that yourself, are we?

Not meaning, just zest.

He didn't specify that he was only referring to certain instances. It was a blanket statement.

Lost in Translation

Every time someone says that movies aren't as good as they used to be, I wanna slap the cretin across the face with a copy of whatever brilliant movie I watched last. I just watched Lost in Translation today and I think it's a fantastic movie.

Subdued humour, great acting, mature look at a short lived relationship with a lot of emotional resonance. Sofia Coppola's films have been hit/miss for me so far, but this one is definetely hit.

And it's so beautiful looking!

Watched the newest Jim Gaffigan special last night. I'm getting a little bored of his comedy. Some of it was funny, but overall, a pretty stale performance.

I don't even really laugh that much at the movie, but it's just so fun and satisfying to watch for other reasons that I don't care if I laughed harder at Borat or The Hangover. I've watched those as much as I need to (once) but I could still see Lost in Translation again.
