That movie with the england bloke who tries to keep his girlfriend alive by going back in time and giving up the ring too save her and ends up loding her again so he goes into the future to escape it all and then ends up in centuries when mole people took the world and turned it all uncivilized.

At the cinemas I just saw Quantum of Solace, which I enjoyed, but it was a bit of a 'linking' film, I imagine the next one will have far more story.
On DVD I just watched The Dark Knight (which was OK), The Mummy Retruns (which I have to review... and it SUCKS) and The Mother of Tears (nice and grisly, but no patch on Suspiria). |

I disagree, I don't think it was too long, and I think the pacing was great.
I think Bale was great too, though I admit his Batman voice is sometimes unintentionally funny, but it does make a lot of sense for him to have a put on voice so people don't recognise him, that's one thing about most superhero movies that always bothered me. |
A lot of people who've seen it on DVD rather than in the theater think it's too long. Maybe because they're not that distracted with the special effects.

True.
I try to watch it on DVD and i fall asleep. Watched Slumdog Millionaire. I don't think its film of the year, but saying that, its still outstanding. This year has been the most enjoyable for me in terms of both summer blockbusters and lower-budget drama films. |
Seven Pounds, and seriously take a girl with you and hopefully she's overly sensitive.
