probably going to watch it tonight

I haven't used pwtorrents in awhile but yeah I got it a few times. my ratio went back up because I started seeding everything I downloaded I think.

How Do You seed something? I'm not experienced with torrenting.

after a torrent finishes downloading, just leave it. don't click stop or remove. the more people that seed a torrent the quicker it downloads, so it's just a nice thing to do for other downloaders I guess.

The one time I ever didn't bother removing a download was the one time I ever got caught. So **** seeding.

Got an email from my internet service provider warning me that they'd received a complaint from whatever company. From what I understand that's not totally rare, but your internet company will never hand out your information without a warrant I guess so whoever the copyright holder is has to use them as a middle-man, and all your service provider will do is temporarily throttle your connection. So nothing happened cause I never seeded again and have never gotten another notice.

The only person I know who got caught got caught three times and got a huge fine for it. She was also one of the dumbest people I've ever met, and that's saying something as someone who associates with a lot of hippies.

that's weird, I've never heard of anyone getting caught. maybe they're stricter in the states than they are here?
