I enjoyed Hush a lot. Unique take on the terror genre and while there's not a lot of slashing, the bad guy is one very sick **** and when the gore happens it's pretty shocking. Definitely worth your while to check out.

I'm not so much interested in actual slashing as the characters being stalked and hunted. I guess by that It Follows would be perfect, but around the time the characters knew they were being hunted it stopped being as good (I guess around the beach house scene at the latest). That movie would probably would have been brilliant as a short film.

also you should try cache. idk what your stance is on foreign films and it might be a little too slow paced for you but i think it's definitely worth the shot.

Absolute hands down the best aspect of Hush. 3 minutes in and you'll understand why.

it's in my top 5 horror films. american > original just for the cast since they're essentially the same films. everything i've seen from Haneke has just been so got dang good.

The original. Not the remake. The foriegn language aspect made it work better for me.
