Wowzers. I felt strange about it after leaving but to go so far as saying I hated it. I don't think I could do that. The opening scene alone was incredibly memorable.

I mean, I don't think other people should hate it, but I do. There were so many elements of the story and direction that were a tremendous let down. The structure of the story is like some of kind first-draft fanfiction written by an aspiring screenwriter, not an experienced one. Guardians 2 feels like Gunn wrote it in a month, whereas Nicole Perlman was working on the first one for over a year. Rushed, sloppy, and disappointing.

Really isn't an awful film. Some of it's awful, yes. But this has to be the best one they've made. If they can manage another one in the vein of this campy, quasi-hilarious sequel then I don't see why not. 7/10

Last night I started watching the Descent but the file was corrupted half way through. I was super into it though. Even the completely unexpected jump scares, makin me actually jump, as well as the claustrophobic atmosphere dripping with dread. Gonna finish later after restarting, cuz that's really good stuff I think

The Descent is really good. The sequel isn't half bad either. I watched the second one a few weeks back.

Edge of Tomorrow for the thrid time. Best combination of sci-fi, action, and adventure in the last decade IMO.

Let's hope Neil Marshall puts as much into Hellboy as he has with a few of his past films. I've always been a fan of his.

Ok, I tried to watch The Human Centipede (because how controversial people pretend it is) and I couldn't get through half of it but not for the reason you think.....
......I couldn't take it seriously, rather more as a dark comedy. It actually reminded me of a less amusing version of this:
