I don't know about that. I've watched countless comedies over the years. Then - just like with horror movies - I started watching fewer and fewer, since I feel like I'm getting way more out of certain other genres on average. I deleted my IMDB profile a few years back, so I can't prove it, but I watch tonnes of movies, and I always have done so. There were thousands and thousands on my IMDB ratings list. I wouldn't exactly say I'm unfamiliar with the comedy movie genre, is what I'm getting at.

MicShaz, have you ever watched The Odd Couple? Sixties classic comedy, Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau, the opposite of a buddy movie. Written by Neil Simon. If you watch it and don't like it, then there's no hope for you.

I didn't think about it like that, but yeah, I guess that kind of ends up being the end result of how I laid it out.

Can't say I have. Most comedies I've watched have been from the 70's or newer. I'll check it out. I like the premise, at least.

Last movie I saw was Justice League, not sure why so many critics are ****ting on it. It's not exactly Pulp Fiction, but it's a decent movie that kept my attention for the full two hours.

Good Time

This fucking film. If someone had told me the queen vampire from Twilight would channel young Pacino in classic NYC films later on in his career, I probably would've laughed. R Pats puts in a great performance of a man that gets himself in one shitty situation after another. It's a stunning film by the two brothers who made "Heaven Knows What" and if you've seen that film, you might know what you're getting into. Minus all the drug abuse that was in Heaven Knows What though.

Last one I saw in full was the 2002 version of Chicago. Amazing acting, plot, and music. Highly recommend it if you're into musicals (or you just like movies).

Wind River

Intensely emotional flick. Had me knotted up a number of times.

Renner just keeps getting better.
