I prefer my oriental ridiculousness to inhabit the same splattery spectrum as stuff like like Boxer's Omen and Story of Ricky and various cuts from Yoshihiro Nishimura and Takashi Miike

I mean it's not not insane, I'm just a depraved human being

or I just gravitate toward horroresque cinema more

either way the upper cut through the guy's face at at 1:02:15 is a quality moment in human history
