I don't know if the original is worth seeing, I personally thought the remake was a bit better and they're pretty much identical. In any case, it is a great movie. It reminds me of a scene in Cat's Cradle where the narrator is turned off of nihilism because of the behavior of a certain nihilist. This movie does that for me.

I just saw Suburbia for the first time. It was very interesting, a good insight into what punk life was like because I was born too late to be there It's basically about a kid that runs away and meets a group of punks. They squat in an apartment and basically become family. It is a sad movie though at the end. A couple really cool things about Suburbia: the cast was made up mostly of punk/underground musicians and street kids, and there were live performances by the Vandals, D.I., and T.S.O.L.

Horrible, just horrible. Touted as a "remake" of Romero's 1985 film of the same name. And there are some similarities. Both films have characters named Sarah and Captian Rhondes. Both films involve people in bunkers. And they both have zombies. And....that's about it. First off, can I just say I am not digging the fast zombies. It's not right. Secondly, one of the great things about Romero's films was how hard they worked to make them feel real. This was one big crapfest of CG'd blood and zombies that can walk on the ceiling like undead spiders. Hated it. I did my nails while I was watching it. That's how good it was.

OMG. I don't even want to go near that and now you have only confirmed my suspicions. How dare they remake one of the greatest Horror films ever? yuk.

Seriously...I've never been so dissappointed by a zombie movie in my life. I cried a little.

You should have watched 'Flight Of The Living Dead'. Cheap, cheesy fun-it's great.

Not as good, they seem to get over the edge.

How can you not like fast zombies? 1000 times more scarier than ones that move like a grandma without a walker.
