Come on guys! You obviously mean My Left Foot! I mean, a guy who stays in character AS A MAN WITH CP ALL DAY so that he doesn't lose the feeling of being him.... come on now.

Day-Lewis, known for his extreme method acting, insisted on staying in character during the production of the film, refusing to do anything that Brown couldn't do. This meant that members of the film crew had to move the actor around in a wheelchair, lift him over obstacles, and even feed him.

This is not remotely surprising.

Literally it's not. It focuses only on the main subject's sexuality like it's the 90s or something. It's regressive and stupid. Like if I went around describing films with straight characters as "straight". It's a movie about two people falling in love. It's a romantic drama. But bros be bros.

Incidentally, I didn't like it much myself, like any of his other movies.
