I've also had this idea of moderators being the most mature and considerate members of the forum so they can keep things in check and moderate internet behavior effectively like in the days of yore but it's long been clear this isn't the case with the current MB leadership (ironically, we actually have one supertroll as a mod). So yeah, somewhere along the way things went wrong and now we're just stuck with what we've got... :/

• We got Adidasss offended because I used a gif from a TV sitcom to jokingly review an LGBTQ film.
• We got a former mod acting like my dad telling me I should apologize to teh incredibly sensitive hurt feelings of a member who's entire existence on this forum is to have their sensitive feelings hurt.
• I use the same gif in a context that has nothing to do with sexuality. In fact, I used it because somebody corrected my terrible grammar.
• Sensitive boy calls me a dickhead.
• Mod who thinks he's my dad calls me inconsiderate after sesnitive boy calls me a dickhead.

That everything? Both of you can f*ck off. Is that mod like?

Okay, well someone has to be an adult here.

So why don't you guys go into your neutral corners and take a deep breath? Getting personal with each other isn't going to solve anything. It is what it is, as Adidass says, so maybe we just accept things as they are. At least we are allowed to voice our displeasure here without having to worry about getting banned. That isn't always true on other forums. Believe me, as an ex-mod on one of them, I know.
